Vinu V.V. (b. 1974, Ernakulam, Kerala) explores marginal histories, caste, alternative knowledge systems, and social struggles through sculptural installations, paintings, and public artworks. Trained in sculpture at R.L.V. College of Fine Arts, Tripunithura (National Diploma, 1998), he employs transgressive forms that blur conventional categories. He has exhibited widely in India and abroad and undertaken public commissions. The work, Sankadakkadal (Ocean of Sorrow) combines wood carving with integrated forms to probe human conditions and the layered complexities of existence.
