Sanul Kuttan (b. Kerala) is a sculptor rooted in traditional craftsmanship and material practice. He completed his BFA (2007) and MFA (2010) in Sculpture from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. Working across stone, wood, metal, and terracotta, his works engage with history, marginality, and social hierarchies. Influenced by Santiniketan modernism, his work carries elements of realism alongside organic aesthetics, combining material rigor with a strong conceptual grounding. He has exhibited widely, and his works reflect layered cultural contexts.
