The diverse imagery of everyday life becomes a starting point for exploring urban experience, cultural references and shifting realities in the work of George Martin P. J. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, in 1998, followed by a Master of Visual Arts in Sculpture at the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, in 2001.

His practice draws on domestic objects, local references and cultural forms, which he manipulates and reconfigures to examine the attitudes, anxieties and unspoken social conventions that shape our surroundings and behaviour. Colour, light and movement converge in vibrant, densely layered compositions where figuration and abstraction coexist. Beneath their visual exuberance lies a sense of fragmentation and transience, reflecting the realities of contemporary urban life.
