George Martin P. J. (b. 1973, Angamaly, Kerala) completed his BFA in Sculpture from the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram (1998), and MVA from the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata (2001). Working across painting, sculpture, and installation, he is known for colour-saturated, dense compositions that reflect urban experience. The exuberance of his imagination and conceptual depth allude to complex urban situations. He has exhibited widely in India and internationally, and has received several awards and fellowships. He lives and works in New Delhi.
